Hello family! What a joy to find you here once again. We are jumping for joy because the time has finally come to share the interview with Cristina, a mommy who does not stop moving, is very practical and above all very very sincere when telling us about her experience with motherhood.
Cristina, is the mother behind the @crishurtadolab insta (previously called @laboratoriodemama), she has two precious little ones and a life partner who, by all accounts, together are an unstoppable team. This time we will not make any more introduction so that you can go straight to discover it…
Cristina:For me, motherhood is rediscovering the world. Before being pregnant, I always thought about what it would be like to accompany a new little person in discovering the world. I loved the idea of being able to see their evolution, their physical and emotional development. Being a mother has made me feel lucky to be able to experience these processes very closely.
I have to say that the idea I had before becoming a mother did not change much. I have been a mother for 33 years and I already had enough experience as friends to know everything that awaited us.
C:PATIENCE. That is what stands out the most. I have always been a very restless person who needs to move from here to there constantly. In addition, I recognize that, before becoming a mother, emotional management was a pending task. I was easily nervous in situations that I now consider to be 'easy to manage'. They have taught me to take everything with a point of humor and patience. When you are a mother or father you become the example of that new little person. If you want that little one to be an adult capable of facing situations and managing their emotions, you have to work on them first. That's wonderful, I assure you 😉
C: Hahahaha! Excuse me for laughing, but the answer to this question is very easy: 'I HAVE DONE WHAT I COULD'
Before becoming a mother, she worked as an actress and acting teacher. The weekend I found out I was pregnant I decided to leave the world of acting. I had been dedicating myself body and soul to artistic projects for 12 years and wanted a change. I was exhausted from going from one place to another. At that moment I thought about reinventing myself. I started working in the world of communication and continued with my acting classes. There I discovered a better quality of life. I could continue to have my active creative part, contact with people and it also provided me with a schedule in which I could be with the little one.
C: I am currently undergoing another change: I am training as a personal trainer. I have always liked working with the body, so now I want to direct the body training that I had in being able to help other people to take care of their health through physical exercise.
Today this change has put wonderful people in my path, it has made me see that I am capable of a lot of things that I did not imagine and I can also be with the kids.
< p>C: In Mom's Laboratory, you will find my concerns as a mother. We are talking about real motherhood, upbringing, childcare, children's literature, healthy recipes, physical exercise for pregnancy and postpartum, but above all child safety.
The day I decided to open the blog was because I couldn't find a safe chair for my daughter. I went from store to store and found nothing reliable. Luckily, I fell into a store in my 'town' where they told me amazing things. Among them, children under 4 years of age must go in reverse to avoid injuries as serious as internal decapitation. These are very strong words, so I went looking for professionals, engineers, pediatricians or pediatric physical therapists who could assure me that this was true. I found two of the best professionals in the child safety industry and they helped me to explain, to as many parents as possible, what was the safest way to transport their children in the car.
Also the desire to talk about a real motherhood, without filters, without everything being rosy, caused the birth of a mother's laboratory.
Well family, we have almost reached the end and the truth is that we have loved the way in which Cristina has expressed her vision of motherhood and parenting. It would be good to take a look at these last 5 points each day, before starting the activities, because they are so real that sometimes we forget them. And before we say goodbye, if you have any doubts about child safety in the car, you can talk to Cristina, who is all ears and will surely give you the best clues on what to do. We also encourage you to visit his blog where you will find answers to many of your questions. https://www.crishurtadolab.com/
By the way, we already have our next stop and at the invitation of Cristina we will interview @planeandoserpadres We let you know that we are already getting ready to land at Lucía's home and find out from her how she handles this maternity …
A very fat family hug, until next time.
